Eau Kulen Sparkling, the first sparkling mineral water of Cambodia 

Since launching its Eau Kulen natural mineral water in 2013, Kulara Water has been growing steadily. In a few years, the brand has conquered the public and become one of the biggest names in the mineral water industry and has also managed to dominate many renowned international brands such as Evian, Vittel, or Volvic. Capitalizing on the solid reputation of its Eau Kulen, Kulara Water will launch Eau Kulen Sparkling, its new sparkling mineral water, by October 2019.


Announced several months ago, the sparkling water has mobilized important factors, technical, financial, and human around the historic commitments of Kulara Water, with the principal aim of offering the best water available by using the expertise of the best people in the business. The factory located at the foot of the Kulen Mountains, and operating in accordance with the highest international standards since its creation, has acquired the latest state-of- the-art equipment to produce Eau Kulen Sparkling. Two teams of Kulara Water technicians were also sent to Italy, to the regions of Parma and Venice, to ensure the transfer of technical skills to make the launch of the first sparkling mineral water produced in Cambodia a major success.

A new sparkling mineral water with a unique taste

The commercial and industrial success of Eau Kulen, which appeals to both Cambodian clientele and many tourists and expatriate residents, is built on the brand’s solid reputation. Eau Kulen Sparkling Mineral Water is particularly expected to benefit from the same commitment to quality management and strict production control, from the collection of water at a depth of 100m at the foot of the Kulen Mountains to the bottling and distribution processes. The new water bottle also benefits from a particularly advanced technology ensuring the maintenance of the original taste of water and carbon dioxide. 

Eau Kulen reflects the exceptional land it comes from. “The origin and authenticity of our water, its balance in minerals, its unique taste, its beneficial effects on health, and the seriousness of our quality control are at the heart of our success” explains Jacques Marcille, Managing Director of Kulara Water. There is no doubt that Eau Kulen Sparkling, as unique as its big sister and the famous mountain and forest massif from which it originates, will follow the same path to quickly establish itself on the market. 

Eau Kulen Sparkling will be introduced by October 2019 to the best restaurants in the region. The launch and promotion of the new sparkling water, in partnership with DKSH group, will initially favour the network of hotels, restaurants, and cafes that particularly demand quality local products.
